Santa Fe and Madrid, New Mexico

This was a Sunday afternoon in March 2017. After Sunday Mass, we drove up to Santa Fe as it was a beautiful day perfect for picture taking – we had nothing planned and would follow whatever fancied. We took NM 14 from Sante Fe on the way home, the back way, stopping in Madrid. Madrid is an old mining town that is now an artist’s colony. It was a film location for the 2007 movie Wild Hogs.

These are among my favorite places for photo-taking in New Mexico.
