Mom and I had an awesome vacation-of-a-lifetime tour of Italy and of Oberammergau, Germany. I took lots and lots of photos here, and I am so glad I did. I never want to forget the wonder and awe of the sights.

Itinerary
Day 1
ROME Arrive in Rome. Dinner at local restaurant (Papa Rex).
Day 2
CASTEL GANDOLFO Guided visit of the Papal Palace and Barberini Gardens.
ROME Guided visit of the Vatican Museums features the Sistine Chapel. Visit St. Peter’s Basilica and walk in St. Peter’s Square.
Day 3
ROME Attend the Papal Audience. Free time for lunch. Guided sightseeing to St. Paul Outside the Walls, Catacombs of Domitilla, the Holy Stairs, St. John Lateran Basilica, St. Mary Major Basilica.
Day 4
CASCIA Orientation walk. Visit Basilica and attend Mass. Visit the Lower Basiica home of the Eucharistic miracle.
ASSISI Visit St. Mary of the Angels Basilica with its Porziuncola.
Day 5
ASSISI This morning attend Mass followed by a guided walking tour. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, St. Clare’s Church, Carceri Hermitage and St. Damian Monastery.
Free time this afternoon.
Eexcursion to Spello.
Day 6
SIENA Walking tour to St. Catherine’s Sanctuary and house, and the Basilica of St. Dominic. Drive to Florence. Piazza del Campo
FLORENCE Free time this afternoon. Dinner at your hotel.
Day 7
FLORENCE Visit Academy of Fine Arts. Guided walking tour of Cathedral Square. Attend Mass at the Duomo. Also visit Signoria Square and Santa Croce Square.
Day 8
Scenic drive through the Apennine Mountains and arrive in the Po area.
PADUA Guided sightseeing to the Basilica of St. Anthony.
Day 9
VENICE Private boat ride. Guided walking tour to Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark’s Basilica. Free time this afternoon.
Day 10
Scenic drive through the impressive Dolomites to Innsbruck.
INNSBRUCK Walk through the Old Town to the Golden Roof.
Day 11
OBERAMMERGAU Afternoon and evening dedicated to the world-famous Passion Play.
Day 12
MUNICH Marienplatz with its Old and New Town Halls. Farewell dinner.
